Polyester wadding is polyester fiber processed into bonded batting sheets or rolls — a flat, compressible web used as padding/interlining, distinct from loose fiberfill.
How it’s made Short polyester staple fibers are carded into a web, then bonded by:
- Thermal bonding — melt-fiber fusion, no glue, soft & eco
- Spray/resin bonding — adhesive spray, firm and stable
- Needle punching — mechanical entanglement, dense & durable

- Weight: 80–500 g/m² (typical garment wadding 80–200 g/m²)
- Width: 150–250 cm rolls; also cut-to-size pieces
- Thickness / density: varies by bond type
- Finish: siliconized, anti-static, flame-retardant, washable grades available
