Why can Stitchbond cloth be used for waterproof materials
Stitchbond cloth can be used as waterproof material for the following reasons:
Good adsorption: Through a specific production method, such as setting a first adsorption layer including a superabsorbent resin layer and an asbestos fiber layer, and a second adsorption layer including an activated carbon fiber layer and a sepiolite fiber layer, a better adsorption effect can be achieved. Among them, asbestos fiber layer and activated carbon fiber layer can play the first layer of adsorption, and superabsorbent resin layer and sepiolite fiber layer can further enhance the adsorption effect.
Glue connection enhances water resistance: between the superabsorbent resin layer and the asbestos fiber layer, between the activated carbon fiber layer and the sepiolite fiber layer through ps glue connection, this connection can effectively improve the overall waterproof effect of Stitchbond cloth.
Material characteristics: The raw material of stitchbond cloth is usually plastic bottle sheet, which is processed to form recycled chemical fiber, and then made by sewing and knitting non-woven process. It has a certain waterproof performance. For example, some lixin fabrics may contain a polyurethane fiber layer to further improve water resistance.
In addition, the waterproof performance of stitchbond cloth may also be related to its density, thickness and finishing process. The Lixin cloth produced by different manufacturers may have differences in specific performance, and the actual waterproof effect needs to refer to the characteristics of the specific product. In some waterproofing applications, it may also be necessary to apply additional waterproofing treatment to the stitchbond cloth or use it in combination with other waterproofing materials to meet specific waterproofing requirements.
For example, there is a highly adsorbent waterproof liesin cloth, the left side of the base cloth layer is connected with a first adsorption layer (including a superabsorbent resin layer and asbestos fiber layer) by ps glue, and the right side is connected with a second adsorption layer (including an activated carbon fiber layer and a sepiolite fiber layer) by ps glue. This structure effectively improves the overall adsorption effect of stitchbond cloth, and at the same time, each layer is connected by ps glue, which also improves the overall waterproof effect, thus expanding its scope of use.
